Position Summary

In this role, you'll lead our efforts to attract, engage, and hire top talent in the EMEA region. You'll oversee cross-border teams of Talent Acquisition professionals, responsible for filling various positions by establishing targeted strategies to attract the best talent in the market. In partnership with internal teams, you'll design and deploy strategies to promote CAE's employer brand, improve processes, and implement innovative programs to drive market visibility and attract talent.
This role requires a collaborative leader and change agent who can build strong partnerships with diverse stakeholders, drive transformation, leverage data-driven insights, and ensure an exceptional candidate experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the talent attraction and recruitment practice for the EMEA region, ensuring alignment with business objectives and growth;
- Accountable for the delivery of all vacancies across the EMEA regions (30+ countries and entities);
- Collaborate with global stakeholders to design and deploy innovative visibility and attraction strategies for targeted talent communities, e.g., Instructor pilots and tech talent;
- Effectively manage the TA budget by developing strong business cases, strategically investing to optimize recruitment costs, and ensuring high-quality hires;
- Partner with employer branding, marketing, and communications teams to develop and promote CAE's employer brand, culture, and EVP, while ensuring its consistent use and market reach;
- Leverage and enhance technology, data, and AI to improve stakeholder experience, steer teams, and make informed decisions based on insights;
- Establish early careers programs across Europe – apprenticeships, internships, and student employment;
- Ensure compliance with local, regional, and federal regulations in all markets;
- Establish and manage relations with various service providers related to talent acquisition;
- Implement and participate in initiatives to influence diversity, equity, and inclusion in our talent acquisition process.
Qualifications / Knowledge / Skills
- Bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field;
- At least 10-12 years of relevant experience in talent acquisition for positions of all levels, including at least 5 years in a leadership role, preferably having led international teams;
- Well-versed in the European talent market;
- Proficiently acts as a change agent and spearheads transformative projects, seamlessly uniting teams and stakeholders;
- Capacity to leverage data insights in guiding decision making and continuous improvement;
- Capability to develop and promote CAE's employer brand and EVP in the market;
- Ability to guide, coach, and train various stakeholders in talent acquisition;
- Experience implementing programs supporting workforce diversity, equity, and inclusion;
