Zachary Daniels Recruitment is proud to partner with this authentic, values-led retailer in the appointment of a Head of Buying.
This socially responsible company offers quality and value to customers through its brick-and-mortar stores and growing online presence, including drop-ship and marketplace models.
We are seeking an exceptional Head of Buying to drive the product offering across key categories such as Seasonal, Stationery, Gifting, and Furniture.
Key Responsibilities:- Supplier Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop the buying team to foster a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Financial Accountability: Manage the buying budget, monitor performance against financial targets, and implement corrective actions as necessary to achieve profitability goals.
- Commercial Acumen: Demonstrate a strong understanding of retail financials and make data-driven decisions that positively impact the bottom line.
- Hybrid Working Flexibility: Be comfortable with a hybrid working environment and balance time effectively between home, head office, and store visits.
