About the Role

We are seeking an organised and detail-oriented individual to join our small, friendly team as an HR Volunteer. As a key member of our people services team, you will play a vital role in co-ordinating core services, including advice and support to managers, software and technology, personnel data, and analytics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage volunteer recruitment and data, ensuring records are up-to-date and accurate
  • Process new applications and support volunteers on their journey
  • Assist with ad-hoc HR administration as required
  • Contribute to the development of our volunteer onboarding experience

Requirements

We are looking for someone with strong knowledge of Microsoft packages, a confident telephone manner, and an eye for detail. This role would suit an organised person looking to gain experience in the HR sector or someone with previous HR or administration experience.

Working Arrangements

This role will be office or home-based, with hours to suit within office hours. Ideally, we would like someone to commit to at least one day a week, but we are flexible and open to discussing alternative arrangements.

What We Offer

As an HR Volunteer, you will gain first-hand insight into the role and contribute to the development of our people services team. You will also have the opportunity to work with our digital systems and processes, requiring a good level of IT skills.
