Job Title: Project Control Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Control Specialist to join our team at BAE Systems. As a key member of our SSNA Reporting & Governance team, you will be responsible for establishing governance arrangements for the SSNA Programme.

This is a diverse role that provides exposure across all programmes, offering opportunities for growth and development within a multibillion-pound long-term complex programme. We offer relocation support packages across all Submarines roles, subject to meeting eligibility criteria.

About the Role

As a Project Control Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Performing intermediate project reporting and governance
  • Undertaking intermediate problem-solving typically based on previous experience
  • Attending on-the-job training as appropriate
  • Leading the PM&C processes on small non-complex projects or a work package of a larger project
  • Managing and analysing the outcome of the PM&C processes on a full project lifecycle to ensure that, over time, the needs of customers/users continue to be met and that financial and other benefits are achieved
  • Consolidating and analysing expertise from multiple sources, including third-party experts, to provide coherent advice to further organisational objectives
  • Supporting and promoting the development and sharing of specialist knowledge within the organisation
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A background in project controls and project management
  • A good understanding of all project controls disciplines
  • The ability to analyse data
  • Excellent stakeholder management
