About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Buying and Merchandising End Point Assessor to join our team at Innovate Awarding. As a key member of our assessment team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality End Point Assessments to apprentices in the Buying and Merchandising sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, carry out, and report on End Point Assessments for apprentices in the Buying and Merchandising sector.
  • Make decisions on apprenticeship standards and overall grades, using your expertise to make fair and independent assessment judgments against the standard's grading criteria.
  • Carry out administration tasks and keep your sector knowledge up to date.
  • Work with apprentices and their employers to plan and deliver End Point Assessments.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Senior Buyer or Merchandiser in the Retail sector.
  • Ability to interact with a wide range of learners, with empathy and effectiveness.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Confidence in working autonomously, with a strong team player mindset.
  • Strong time management and administration skills.
  • Access to a vehicle and your own IT equipment.
  • Familiarity with MS Office and other IT systems (training will be provided for EPAPro).
