The primary focus of this role will be on B2B sales of Tesla's innovative energy products tailored for residential and small commercial applications, particularly in the Southwest region of England.

Your mission will involve establishing, nurturing, and expanding a robust network of clients, including third-party photovoltaic (PV) installers. You will also play a pivotal role in driving business development initiatives within your designated area.

This position is diverse and requires a solid understanding of energy storage products and market dynamics, coupled with exceptional interpersonal skills. Our team is characterized by collaboration, creativity, and a shared commitment to pioneering advancements in a rapidly evolving technological landscape.

Work Location: Flexible, with accessibility to the Southwest of England.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Realize ambitious growth objectives for Powerwall sales across assigned channels.
  • Establish and sustain highly effective partner accounts.
  • Proactively identify and capitalize on opportunities to bridge performance gaps and enhance sales volume within the assigned channel.
  • Contribute insights for the creation of targeted marketing and sales materials essential for account success.
  • Identify potential new partners and finalize sales agreements.
  • Ensure financial health of accounts and facilitate partner growth.
  • Foster and maintain relationships within partner organizations; communicate Tesla's product and feature roadmap.
  • Anticipate product needs from partner accounts.
  • Provide product feedback to the technical team regarding design and applicability.
  • Assess new business opportunities with existing and prospective accounts, identify suitable product offerings, and take ownership of these opportunities.
  • Deliver critical market insights to the broader business team.
  • Generate accurate sales forecasts for business and manufacturing teams, including detailed performance assessments for key accounts.
  • Support the evaluation of market dynamics across various sectors (utility, commercial & industrial, residential, etc.) and their drivers (policy/regulatory, economic, etc.).
  • Represent Tesla at promotional events for Powerwall products.
  • Assist in identifying and implementing initiatives to enhance partner training, installation quality, and overall operational efficiency.
  • Provide user feedback to IT development teams regarding Tesla tools and processes.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2+ years of experience in B2B Sales or Business Development.
  • Familiarity with solar power or energy storage technologies relevant to residential and small commercial applications.
  • Proficient in prioritizing and managing multiple projects and tasks concurrently.
  • Fluency in English is required.
