Overview of the Role
EG Group is presenting a remarkable opportunity for a seasoned Financial Systems Accountant to become part of our growing organization. This position will involve collaborating across the Group's finance division and working with various departments to improve system efficiency, provide training, and ensure adherence to financial regulations.
The incumbent will be tasked with managing and supervising the Oracle EPM consolidation and planning system, while also promoting the effective use of Blackline for account reconciliations. The ideal candidate will assist in delivering precise and timely consolidated financial data and maintaining data integrity.
Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership and manage the Oracle EPM system being implemented for consolidation and planning.
- Develop and sustain effective Business Intelligence for financial reporting, planning, and analysis.
- Oversee the ongoing implementation and management of Oracle EPM and Blackline for consolidation and account reconciliations.
- Provide support to finance team members regarding Oracle EPM and Blackline functionalities and best practices.
- Stay informed about the Group's accounting policies and framework, ensuring compliance in consolidation processes and reconciliations.
- Continuously assess and enhance consolidation and planning processes, streamline workflows, and implement best practices.
- Establish and ensure compliance with internal controls within the consolidation and reconciliation processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, tax, treasury, and IT to guarantee accurate and timely financial data consolidation.
- Assist external auditors during the annual audit process, addressing inquiries and ensuring timely completion of audit deliverables.

- Essential: Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
- Experience in group accounting functions
- Proficient in Excel
- Expertise in Finance Systems
- Experience in Business Partnering
