Teaching Assistant Position

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Teaching Assistant. As a Teaching Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of different schools and with children of different ages and abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work alongside the class teacher to provide support to children and in some cases on a 1:1 basis.
- Manage the behaviour of pupils whilst they undertake their work and ensure a constructive and positive environment is always enforced.
- De-escalate situations within the classroom in the correct way, ensuring that safeguarding procedures are always adhered to.
- Carry out small group work and work with children with additional needs.
- Report any safeguarding concerns using the school's referral procedures and safeguarding policies.
