About the Company

Our client is a dynamic and innovative law firm, seeking a full-time Head of Legal Practice & Conveyancing Solicitor to join their team. Committed to providing clients with comprehensive home-moving services, having already established partnerships with estate agents, surveyors, mortgage brokers, and home removal companies. They are now expanding to include their own solicitors firm, completing their end-to-end service offering.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handling client complaints and concerns
  • Implementing and overseeing KYC and money laundering procedures
  • Ensuring regulatory compliance to maintain SRA authorization
  • Conducting firm-wide risk assessments and developing internal compliance failure reporting processes
  • Delivering in-house regulatory training and staying informed about regulatory and compliance changes
  • Providing regular status reports on the firm's compliance arrangements
  • Overseeing and approving all lead generation and service advertisements
  • Managing other compliance areas, including training and CPD obligations, data protection, and solicitors accounts rules procedures
Requirements
  • Qualified Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive, or Licensed Conveyancer with at least 4 years PQE
  • Ideal experience in a compliance-related capacity within a legal practice
  • Ability to provide comprehensive reports to the Management Team
  • Ensure overall compliance with the firm's CLC authorisation terms and conditions
  • Update and maintain internal compliance policies and the Compliance Plan
Working Arrangements

A hybrid working arrangement, with one day a week based out of either Norwich or Derby offices.
