Teaching Personnel is seeking a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our team in Wisbech, Cambridgeshire. This full-time role will involve providing one-to-one support to a pupil with SEMH needs within a mainstream primary school setting.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized support tailored to the pupil's specific learning goals and needs.
  • Collaborate closely with the class teacher to implement effective teaching strategies and ensure seamless integration into classroom activities.
  • Monitor and track the pupil's progress, providing regular feedback to the teacher on their development and achievements.
  • Create a positive and supportive learning environment that fosters the pupil's confidence and independence.
  • Utilize your expertise in behavioral management techniques to create a calm and focused learning atmosphere.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience supporting pupils with EHCPs, including SEMH, ASC, MLD, HI, or VI.
  • A proactive and solution-oriented approach to challenges within the classroom setting.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with teachers, parents, and other professionals.
  • Strong assessment and progress tracking abilities to accurately measure the pupil's development.
