Job Title: Primary School SEN Support Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Level 3 Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 SEMH support to a primary age pupil in a Primary School located in Wisbech, Cambridgeshire.

About the Role:
  • Provide 1:1 support to a primary age pupil with SEMH needs
  • Work closely with the teaching staff to develop and implement individualized support plans
  • Assess and track progress of the pupil, providing regular feedback to the teacher
  • Use exceptional communication and behavioural management skills to support the pupil's learning and development
Requirements:
  • Prior experience supporting pupils with EHCPs, such as ASC, MLD, SEMH, HI, or VI
  • A 'can do' approach to any given situation or challenge
  • Exceptional communication and behavioural management skills
  • The ability to assess and track progress of pupils
