About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Marine Equipment Technician to join our cutting-edge technical team in the South West Region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our marine equipment, ensuring it is in top condition to support our lifesaving operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair marine equipment, including engines, generators, and other critical systems
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and filter replacements
  • Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostic work to identify and resolve equipment issues
  • Collaborate with colleagues and volunteers to ensure seamless equipment operation
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to optimize equipment performance
Requirements
  • Minimum Level 3 NVQ, City & Guilds, HNC or equivalent in a mechanical engineering discipline
  • Good knowledge of IT skills and ability to learn new software
  • High-quality workmanship and attention to detail
  • Driving licence and ability to tow trailers
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
