Specialist Educator for Hearing Impairments

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Specialist Educator for Hearing Impairments to join our esteemed Sensory Service team. This role is pivotal in supporting children with hearing challenges, ensuring they receive the highest quality of education tailored to their unique needs.
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in primary education, demonstrating exceptional teaching practices. A commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment for deaf children is essential. Candidates should hold or be willing to obtain Qualified Teacher Status for the Deaf. Proficiency in British Sign Language, ideally up to Level 3, is a requirement.
We are looking for innovative and resilient educators who can inspire and motivate deaf students to achieve their full potential. Strong organizational skills and the ability to deliver engaging and effective lessons are crucial for success in this role.
