A leading Civil Engineering and Building company is seeking a highly skilled Civils Site Manager to join their East Midlands team.

The Role
As a Civils Site Manager, you will play a key role in the success of the company's clean water infrastructure projects, including pipelines and pumping stations. Your primary responsibilities will include programme management, subcontractor management, and client engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Ensure accurate construction drawings are communicated to site teams for layouts, material measurements, and other purposes.
  2. Verify that setting out is accurate, providing precise lines, levels, and reference points on site.
  3. Drive progress on sites and ensure programme deadlines are met through effective influence and coordination.
  4. Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients and subcontractors.
  5. Collaborate with team members to ensure Quality, Environmental, and Health & Safety aspects are adhered to during project phases.
  6. Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and communicate them to line managers and relevant staff.
  7. Maintain the Integrated Management System (IMS) requirements, policies, and procedures.
  8. Perform other duties as necessary to support the team's objectives.

Requirements
A degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, combined with 5+ years of relevant on-site experience. Experience in the water or utilities sector is highly desirable. Strong numeracy and IT skills, including MS Office, Word, and Excel, are essential. A full driving license is also required.
