CBC Resourcing Solutions is seeking an experienced asset finance credit risk professional to lead the credit risk strategy and team. As a specialist bank and established provider of asset financing solutions to the UK SME and mid-corporate community, we continue to expand and diversify, requiring a skilled professional to drive the credit risk function.

The Role:

  • Develop and implement the asset finance credit risk strategy and framework to ensure the quality and quantity of new business written and maintain the integrity of the portfolio.
  • Recruit, motivate, and train the credit risk team responsible for assessing and underwriting new business transactions within agreed mandates.
  • Improve the efficiency of the credit risk function, including responsibility for the credit risk automation strategy to streamline the sanctioning and processing of 'flow' transactions.
  • Collaborate with commercial and operational functional areas to improve the overall performance of the asset finance division.
  • Personally sanction larger value and more complex transactions and represent these at bank Credit Committee where necessary.

The Candidate:

  • A highly experienced credit risk professional with extensive asset finance / leasing experience gained across a range of asset classes and transaction sizes.
  • A strong leader able to drive performance and excellence from a team of credit risk analysts and managers.
  • Strong team player able to fit into an open and inclusive culture.
  • Asset finance credit risk automation experience.
