Job Title: Head of Credit Risk: EMEA

Marex Spectron is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Credit Risk to lead our EMEA credit risk function. As a key member of our risk management team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing credit risk policies and procedures to ensure the firm's credit risk exposure is managed effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement credit risk policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Lead the EMEA credit risk team to ensure effective credit risk management and monitoring.
  • Collaborate with other risk management teams to ensure a comprehensive understanding of credit risk exposures.
  • Provide expert advice on credit risk matters to senior management and the board.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, regulators, and industry partners.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of credit risk management principles and practices.
  • Proven experience in credit risk management, preferably in a financial services firm.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
