Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Opportunity

Oaklands Global is seeking a skilled Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to join their team at one of their leading MRO clients in the UK.

About the Role

As an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for managing aircraft maintenance, ensuring compliance with Part standards, and delivering high-quality service. You will lead a team to meet tight schedules while maintaining technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake maintenance, repair, and overhaul of customer aircraft, adhering to Part standards.
  • Certify specific aircraft types and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
  • Lead and supervise aircraft mechanics and support staff to uphold high maintenance standards.
  • Manage and deliver maintenance tasks on schedule in collaboration with the Check Manager.
  • Ensure timely and efficient aircraft maintenance for customer satisfaction and on-time performance.
  • Monitor progress, tackle issues, and provide solutions to ensure seamless operations.
  • Maintain safety standards, assist with audits, and contribute to team development.

Requirements

  • Part 66 Licence (B1) with CAA License for / (Birmingham) and A/A/ (Manchester).
  • A minimum of 3 years experience as a technician.
  • Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
  • Flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  • Full UK driving licence and proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Eligibility to live and work in the UK.
