About the Role

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Product Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for generating innovative ideas for new products, developing and testing recipes, sourcing high-quality ingredients, conducting product testing, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in food, including packaging and ingredients.
  • Contribute to category strategy with the Head of Product, Trading Manager, Brand Marketing, Technologist, and Buyer.
  • Identify commercial opportunities within your area of responsibility.
  • Lead on product quality standards, setting the benchmark for the industry.
  • Develop and launch food products with a strong track record.
  • Be commercially aware, with the ability to analyze and interpret customer and market data.

Requirements

  • A degree in Food Science or Culinary Arts.
  • Proven experience in product development.
  • Strong culinary skills.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations.
