East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust is seeking a dedicated Radiotherapy Clinical Learning Facilitator to contribute to our renowned cancer treatment center, Mount Vernon Cancer Centre (MVCC).

As a vital member of our team, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional patient care through innovative radiotherapy techniques. We utilize advanced methods such as IGRT, IMRT, and RapidArc, operating seven days a week to ensure patients receive the highest quality care.

Your Responsibilities
  • Provide guidance and support to junior staff members, fostering their professional development.
  • Actively participate in recruitment and training initiatives, ensuring a skilled and knowledgeable workforce.
  • Maintain the highest standards of patient care, prioritizing safety and well-being.
  • Effectively manage clinical workloads, optimizing efficiency and resource allocation.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for information and advice, demonstrating expertise and responsiveness.
  • Contribute to clinical audit and research endeavors, advancing best practices and knowledge within the field.
Your Qualifications
  • Hold a DCR(T) or BSc in Radiotherapy with HPC registration, demonstrating your academic excellence and professional standing.
  • Possess practical experience working on radiotherapy equipment, showcasing your hands-on expertise.
  • Exhibit strong communication and organizational skills, essential for effective collaboration and task management.
  • Demonstrate the ability to teach and supervise junior staff members, fostering a culture of learning and mentorship.
  • Possess a solid theoretical understanding of radiotherapy principles and practices.
  • Display interpersonal skills and a willingness to continuously learn and adapt within a dynamic healthcare environment.
