About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist to join our team at Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Children's Therapy Team, you will play a vital role in providing specialist assessment, management, and interventions for children and young people with a range of communication difficulties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist assessment, management, and interventions for children and young people with communication difficulties, including feeding and swallowing disorders.
  • Work closely with other professionals, schools, and pre-school settings to develop and implement effective communication strategies.
  • Manage a defined caseload of complex patients, using advanced evidence-based principles to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate interventions.
  • Support and educate families and other professionals in supporting the needs of children and young people with communication difficulties.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of new service initiatives and projects.
Requirements
  • Relevant degree or MSC in Speech and Language Therapy.
  • HCPC registration.
  • Postgraduate assessment and intervention experience in Speech and Language Therapy across a range of paediatric clinical areas.
  • Experience of managing complex clinical pathways, including Speech Sound Disorders, DLD, Language Disorder, and Autism.
  • Experience of working with other professionals, schools, and pre-school settings.
