Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Facilities Maintenance Operative to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Building Services and be able to demonstrate experience working with a wide range of building fabric and fixtures and fittings.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs to building fabric, fixtures, and fittings, including joinery, door furniture, building fabric repairs, painting and decorating, plumbing, and sanitary fittings.
- Participate in our comprehensive PPM regime, monitoring work carried out by service partners and ensuring compliance with current Health and Safety regulations.
- Assist with the mark out of spaces for exhibition builds and installation of electrical and water and waste supplies for our event programme.
- Develop and complete risk assessments, work permits, and procedures for facility maintenance activities.
- Monitor and maintain energy-saving initiatives and schemes.
Requirements
- Experience in Building Services and maintenance operations.
- Excellent working knowledge of current Health and Safety regulations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
