We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Lead Care Manager to join our team at Shire Healthcare. As a Lead Care Manager, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and support to adults with learning difficulties, mental health difficulties, and autism in a residential setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs and goals of each service user.
  • Lead and manage a team of care staff to ensure high-quality care and support is provided at all times.
  • Collaborate with external agencies and professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
  • Manage budgets and resources effectively to ensure the smooth operation of the care home.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and standards related to residential care.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to care staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality care.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure the care home meets the highest standards of care and quality.

Requirements:

  • Level 5 qualification in care management or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in a senior care management role.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Strong knowledge of care laws, regulations, and standards.
