Financial Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our team at Kingspan Insulation. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in preparing, developing, and analyzing financial information to support business decision-making.

• Manage the Fixed Asset Register and verify assets across UK sites.
• Own the IFRS 16 Leased Asset Accounting process, ensuring Sharecontrol accuracy.
• Continuously review Assets Under Construction and capitalize Assets.
• Process the disposal of Assets, ensuring approval.
• Focus on accurate forecasting of Capex spend and Depreciation.
• Work closely with stakeholders to collate longer-term Capex spend plans for the Budget and Strategy Plan years.
• Post-Acquisition Capex Project Reviews in accordance with the Accounting Manual.
• Post journals at month-end, including prepayments/accruals & provisions.
• Allocate Divisional Management & IT Recharges.
• Provide cover for the Compliance Accountant for business-critical tasks, such as Balance Sheet Reconciliations, Intercompany Balance Reconciliations, VAT, Inward Processing Relief (IPR), and Plastic Packaging Tax.
• Perform checks and approve vendor and payroll payments.
• Create Banks in SAP.
• Vendor Confirmations.
• Aid the transition between Comshare/Tagetik.
• Work with stakeholders to provide timely and accurate information to support decision-making.
• Identify and take responsibility for areas that could be more efficient, allowing for more time to focus on value-added activities.
• Liaise with internal and external audit as required.

• An accounting qualification, such as ACCA, CIMA, or a bachelor's degree, or working towards.
• Demonstrate ongoing professional development.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Good literacy, numeracy, and IT skills, including MS Word and Excel.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience in the use of SAP is beneficial.
