Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Environmental Compliance Officer to join our team at Kingdom Services Group Ltd. As an Environmental Compliance Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our clients' environmental obligations are met, and that our communities are protected from environmental harm.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Environmental Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of public areas to identify potential environmental hazards and ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
  • Issue Environmental Fines: Issue fines to individuals or businesses found to be in breach of environmental regulations.
  • Support Prosecutions: Provide evidence and support to prosecutors in court cases related to environmental offenses.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with Legislation: Stay informed about changes to environmental legislation and ensure that our clients are aware of their obligations.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with local authorities, community groups, and other stakeholders to promote environmental awareness and compliance.
Requirements
  • Strong Knowledge of Environmental Legislation: A thorough understanding of environmental laws and regulations, including the Environmental Protection Act 1990 and the Anti-Social Behaviour Crime and Policing Act 2016.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to communicate complex environmental information to clients, stakeholders, and the public.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail to ensure accurate records and evidence are maintained.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
