About Agility's Client

Our client is a medium-sized accounting practice with a family-like atmosphere, renowned for their structured career progression path.

With an exceptionally low staff turnover rate, many senior staff members started as graduates and progressed through their professional exams to become managers, directors, and partners.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  1. Prepare financial statements, business plans, commentaries, and budgets for management or client reports.
  2. Conduct regular audits, examining the organization's accounts, analyzing risk, inspecting current practices, investigating financial irregularities, and recommending improvements.
  3. Review, implement, and adapt new and existing financial systems and controls.
  4. Produce and analyze annual and monthly accounts.
  5. Manage expenditure, credit, payroll, and investments.
  6. Advise on tax issues, ensuring compliance with tax legislation.

What We're Looking For

  1. A minimum 2:1 degree in a numerically based subject, such as mathematics, accounting, economics, business, psychology, or physics.
  2. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, including pivot tables and V-lookups.
  3. A clear, logical approach to problem-solving.
  4. Ability to work under tight deadlines.
  5. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  6. A commitment to delivering high standards of service.
