Primary School SEN Class Teacher

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Primary School SEN Class Teacher to join our team at Easthorpe School. As a member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting the growth and development of our pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH) and a range of diagnoses.
As a Class Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a safe and inclusive learning environment that caters to the diverse needs of our pupils. You will work closely with our teaching assistants and other staff members to develop and implement individualized education plans that promote academic, social, and emotional growth.
Key Responsibilities- Teach a class of up to 6 pupils with SEMH needs and a range of diagnoses
- Develop and implement individualized education plans that cater to the diverse needs of our pupils
- Work closely with teaching assistants and other staff members to create a safe and inclusive learning environment
- Assess and monitor pupil progress, making adjustments to teaching strategies as needed
- Communicate effectively with parents and carers to ensure a collaborative approach to supporting our pupils
