Job Description

**Job Title:** Electrical Inspector

**Job Summary:** Morson Talent is seeking a skilled Electrical Inspector to join our team. As an Electrical Inspector, you will be responsible for conducting inspections and reporting on assets within privately owned and third-party multi-occupied building intakes.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Organize and conduct inspections of electrical assets, including cut-outs, risers, and lateral cabling.
  • Accurately and timely report inspection data, including access requirements, condition of assets, and identification of equipment.
  • Work with a tablet to record data and upload it to head office on a daily basis.
  • Maintain high-quality recording and reporting, and deliver excellent customer service.

**Requirements:**

  • Computer literate, with experience using Microsoft Outlook, basic Excel, and Microsoft Teams.
  • City & Guilds 236 Parts 1 & 2.
  • JIB Gold card/ECS.
  • NVQ3 or AM2.
  • City & Guilds Level 3 Electrical Installation.
  • City & Guilds Test and Inspection.
  • Full driving license.
  • DBS check.
  • Medical and Drugs and Alcohol screening.
  • Health, Safety, and Environment Awareness.
  • Demonstrate honesty and integrity.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to read drawings and understand content.
  • Excellent organization and planning skills.

**Desirable Qualifications:**

  • Testing and Inspection experience.
  • Experience in LV distribution systems.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Construction Skills Certification Scheme.
  • Site Supervisors' Safety Training Scheme.

**Working Environment:**

The successful candidate will work as part of an inspection team, conducting inspections and reporting on assets within privately owned and third-party multi-occupied building intakes. The company has assets within privately owned multi-occupied buildings, which require a survey to report on.
