Position Overview

At Informa PLC, our dedicated video production team is committed to crafting engaging and impactful visual content for a variety of global events and conferences. This includes thought-provoking interviews with industry leaders, promotional materials, event recaps, product showcases, and keynote presentations. As a Multimedia Content Producer, you will be expected to have a genuine enthusiasm for creating outstanding video content that captivates audiences. We are looking for a versatile individual with strong skills in both videography and video editing to oversee the creation, management, and delivery of all video materials for our organization.

Your role will primarily involve filming at our events around the globe in exciting locations, so if you are eager to join an innovative team with opportunities for international travel, we encourage you to consider this position.

Key Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

  • A solid foundation in video production processes, including pre-production, production, and post-production.
  • Proficiency in content creation, camera operation, and editing, both in-studio and on-site.
  • Extensive knowledge of lighting and sound equipment.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in a video production role.
  • At least two years of hands-on camera experience (familiarity with Sony FX6, FX3, FS7, Blackmagic Pocket Cinema is preferred).
  • A minimum of two years of experience with the Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop) or FCPX/similar software.
  • Experience in planning content, conducting interviews, and presenting in both studio and event settings worldwide.
  • Ability to independently manage all aspects of production (we do not employ separate lighting or sound technicians).
  • A passion for producing and editing high-quality video content under tight deadlines.
  • The capability to extract the most engaging elements from any subject matter.
  • A diverse skill set in production, including storyboarding, filming, and editing.
  • Willingness and ability to travel internationally, potentially three times a month, to film and edit highlights, interviews, and sessions at virtual and hybrid events.
  • Experience in editing high-quality video content (Premiere Pro, FCP X).
  • Bonus: Familiarity with After Effects and experience in creating content for events and conferences.
  • A mature demeanor, capable of interacting positively with clients and team members.
  • Flexibility in working hours and a readiness to travel extensively.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in producing video content for events or conferences is highly advantageous.
  • Knowledge of AI/ML software, including LLMs and generative media tools.
