Assistant Manager

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team at our 24/5 manufacturing plant. As a key member of our leadership team, you will oversee a dynamic team of 10, including Operatives and a Supervisor, and work closely with Senior Management to drive Health & Safety excellence, boost production output, and manage workforce availability.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and motivate a high-performing team to achieve exceptional results.
- Develop and implement effective strategies to improve production efficiency and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with Senior Management to drive Health & Safety excellence and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Manage workforce availability and ensure smooth operations through holiday approvals, overtime allowances, and shift cover.
- Proven experience in leading teams within a technical production environment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and projects with ease.
- Commitment to Health & Safety with a qualification under your belt or a strong desire to develop in this area.
