About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Merchandising Specialist to join our team at Talent Guardian. As a key member of our e-commerce team, you will be responsible for curating and organizing product assortments on our website and marketplaces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Product Management: Curate and organize product assortments on the website and marketplaces, ensuring accurate product information, pricing, and availability.
  • Inventory Management: Manage stock levels across channels, making recommendations on trading initiatives and stock replenishments.
  • Vendor Collaboration: Collaborate with external and internal vendors to ensure product images, content, and data sheets are fulfilled in a timely manner and as per the critical path.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Develop in-house reporting dashboards to improve transparency across the organization, across departments.
  • Seasonal Planning: Work with the production team to demand plan the seasonal buy.
Requirements
  • Experience: Experience as a merchandiser or similar type role (buyer, demand planner).
  • High Volume Brand Experience: High volume brand experience.
  • Excel Skills: Excellent Excel skills.
  • Retail/Head Office Background: Retail/head office background would be nice.
  • Analytical Mindset: Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make strategic merchandising decisions.
  • Team Player: Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and technological advancements in the digital marketing landscape.
What We Offer
  • Competitive Salary: Salary £32k - £35k.
  • Annual Leave: 22 days annual leave rising to 25 days after the qualifying length of service.
  • Working Hours: 9.30am to 6pm, Mondays to Fridays, office based.
  • Summertime Leave: Summertime leave early on Fridays.
  • Clothing Allowance: Clothing allowance £1,000.
  • Fun Days: Fun Days – including sailing, paddleboarding afternoons, BBQ's and Team Birthday lunches.
