Job Title: Head of Commercial Operations

Join the National Skills Agency as we seek a highly skilled and experienced Head of Commercial Operations to lead our commercial strategy and drive business growth.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a senior commercial professional to lead our commercial operations, develop and execute a comprehensive commercial strategy, and drive business growth. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in a senior commercial or customer-facing role, preferably in the Awarding Organisation or EPAO/Education/Training sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and execute a comprehensive commercial strategy to drive business growth and increase revenue.
  2. Lead on commercial relationships with large existing clients and ensure retention and maximisation of revenue generation from each.
  3. Provide proactive leadership to the commercial team, ensuring they are highly motivated to deliver the commercial strategy.
  4. Accountable for the successful achievement of all commercial targets and KPIs quarterly and annually aligned with overall business strategy.
  5. Work closely with SLT colleagues to ensure alignment between commercial activities and operational capabilities.
Requirements:
  1. Proven experience and successful track record in a senior commercial or customer-facing role, preferably in the Awarding Organisation or EPAO/Education/Training sector.
  2. Strong track record of consistently achieving B2B commercial targets, driving new business growth and customer engagement.
  3. Educated to Degree Level and/or Leadership/Commercial qualification desirable.
  4. Excellent C-Suite relationship and account management skills.
