Overview:

The Data Systems Analyst is integral to maintaining and enhancing the integrity of our data systems. This role necessitates a proactive approach to data validation, ensuring its reliability for strategic business decisions and reporting purposes. The Analyst will also lead the development, enhancement, and management of sophisticated Power BI dashboards, contributing significantly to system and process optimizations. As the emphasis on data analytics grows, expertise in Python and SQL is essential for automating tasks and deriving valuable insights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the Systems & Process Manager to guarantee system accuracy, relevance, and alignment with organizational needs.
  • Conduct regular audits to verify data accuracy and integrity, employing Python and SQL for task automation to enhance efficiency and insight generation.
  • Lead the design and refinement of Power BI dashboards, transforming complex datasets into actionable business intelligence.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and rectify system-related discrepancies.
  • Drive enhancements in data management practices and financial systems to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure alignment with business objectives, developing and managing reporting solutions to support decision-making.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders, fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making across the organization.
  • Analyze data to identify trends and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Develop, implement, and integrate processes or systems to optimize data management.
  • Explore strategies to maximize the use of organizational data.
  • Provide practical support for the daily operations of Business Systems.
  • Promote the use of simPRO and other systems within the organization.
  • Assist the Systems & Process Manager and the broader build & delivery team as required.
