About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled HSEQ Advisor to join our team at ASSYSTEM. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with our Management Systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001) and adherence to IMS requirements across the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct project-specific HSEQ audits as directed by the HSEQ Director and IMS Lead, and as required by the Business Units and customer requirements.
  • Promote a strong HSEQ culture across the business, fostering a culture of safety, quality, and environmental responsibility.
  • Provide support during Client audits of project activities, ensuring seamless execution and compliance.
  • Actively involved in resolving non-conformances relating to HSEQ, working closely with stakeholders to implement corrective actions.
  • Support any HSE incidents and/or investigations, providing expert guidance and analysis.
  • Collaborate with the Business Units to maintain and develop processes, ensuring continuous improvement and efficiency.
  • Track and report HSEQ metrics, providing insights and recommendations for process enhancements.
  • Respond to HSEQ-specific questions during bid stages, ensuring accurate and timely responses.
  • Support with external audits of the IMS as required (ISO, Achilles, RISQS).
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a HSEQ role, with a strong background in risk management and compliance.
  • ISO 45001, ISO 9001, or ISO 14001 Internal Auditor experience, with a proven track record of identifying and mitigating risks.
  • Tech IOSH certification, with a strong understanding of industry regulations and standards.
  • Experience working in a highly regulated industry, such as construction, energy, or nuclear, with a strong understanding of CDM Regulations.
  • Willingness to travel, with a flexible approach to work assignments.
