Project Controller Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Controller to join our client's financial team. As a Project Controller, you will play a crucial role in supporting the financial controls of complex and large-scale projects.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Collate financial and management reports according to financial guidelines
  • Monitor and report on project progress and manage day-to-day accounting activities
  • Support with audits of the projects and help prepare cash flow and other financial forecasts
  • Ensure compliance with contractual requirements such as project milestones and applications for payment
  • Work with senior Project Controllers to support Project Managers and their teams
  • Learn from and cover for other Project Controllers to build experience and progress into a more senior role

Requirements:

  • Degree in Business Economics, Business Administration, or equivalent
  • Experience working in a project delivery environment with a good understanding of accounting and controls
  • Experience in the Maritime and/or Civil sector is an advantage
