Retail Sales Specialist - 15 hours - Womenswear - Couture Club

Position Overview

As a Retail Sales Specialist, you play a pivotal role in a team dedicated to crafting exceptional experiences that our clientele anticipates from Selfridges.

Customer engagement is central to your responsibilities; you will be a knowledgeable resource for all aspects of Selfridges, assisting customers with expertise. You will possess comprehensive knowledge of the store, including the latest offerings, events, and exclusive services that Selfridges provides.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with team members to foster a memorable customer journey by establishing rapport, sharing product insights, and addressing customer needs Process sales transactions, refunds, and exchanges, guiding customers to suitable alternatives or offering online solutions when necessary Maintain the highest retail standards through tasks such as selling, restocking merchandise, organizing displays, and hosting Embrace customer feedback and utilize it constructively to enhance service, sales, and retail standards in your area Oversee inventory management within your department, including unpacking deliveries, restocking items, conducting audits, and maintaining the stockroom Adapt to the dynamic challenges that arise daily. This flexible role may require you to assist in various departments, bringing your service excellence and collaborative spirit Leverage your natural curiosity to stay informed about the latest trends by seizing every opportunity to expand your product knowledge and awareness of competitors Adhere to health, safety, and security protocols, actively contributing to the prevention of stock loss Selfridges employs competency-based interview techniques. Support is available throughout the process if needed.

About You:

Excellent communicator. You will engage positively with diverse customers (both local and international) with varying needs Knowledgeable. You will cultivate exceptional product knowledge by monitoring trends and being aware of competitor activities, along with participating in supplier training Recognized as a sales and service authority. You will utilize these skills to deliver outstanding service consistently and take the initiative to provide additional assistance when appropriate Responsible for restocking merchandise, upholding Selfridges standards, and motivating others to do the same Strong problem-solving abilities. You will go the extra mile to resolve customer issues and adapt your approach to meet individual customer needs Flexible.
