Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage structural engineering projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Develop and implement structural engineering designs, taking into account factors such as safety, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, civil engineers, and project managers, to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor project progress and identify potential issues.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues to ensure effective communication and project success.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory requirements, applying this knowledge to improve project outcomes.

Requirements

  • Chartered status with the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) or the Institution of Structural Engineers (IStructE) is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of post-graduate experience in structural engineering, with a strong track record of project delivery and leadership.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong technical knowledge of structural engineering principles, practices, and software, including MasterSeries, Tekla, CSC Fastrak, and Strand7.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and prioritize tasks effectively.
