We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Structural Engineer to join our team in Sheffield. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for leading projects and providing technical guidance to junior engineers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage projects from concept to completion, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
- Develop and implement design solutions that meet client requirements and industry standards.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory requirements, applying this knowledge to improve our design processes and outcomes.
Requirements:
- Relevant degree in civil or structural engineering.
- Proven experience in structural design and project management, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality results.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Strong technical knowledge of industry-standard software, including Fastrak, Tedds, and Tekla.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
