Role Overview
Objective of the Position
In the capacity of a Compliance Manager, you will assist the Head of Compliance in establishing and sustaining a robust compliance framework for Evelyn Partners International (EPI) and Evelyn Partners (Channel Islands) Limited (EPCI) in Jersey. Your role will involve effective communication with all personnel, including the broader Group, while serving as a Money Laundering Compliance Officer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Aid in the upkeep of current compliance risk evaluations, identifying regulatory compliance and financial crime threats faced by EPI and EPCI.
- Oversee compliance and guarantee that regulatory reporting is precise and current.
- Provide daily support and guidance on regulatory and financial crime matters to the wider team.
- Address client grievances and escalate issues when necessary.
- Ensure that suitable measures are implemented to review Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and other account opening documentation.
- Deliver training to the team as required.
Qualifications for Success:
- Possess a recognized benchmark qualification along with relevant practical experience.
- Demonstrate proven compliance/AML experience within an investment or funds sector.
- Exhibit practical knowledge and understanding of pertinent regulatory requirements.
