Business Development Manager (Accountancy Practice)
Reed Accountancy & Finance are recruiting for a well-established accountancy practice based in a rural area. This is a growing practice with 7 partners and a supportive team. Our client has an excellent reputation in the region, working with local owner-managed businesses and SMEs to larger corporate entities, self-employed individuals, and high-net-worth individuals.
- Job Type: Full-time - Hybrid working
- Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 based on experience
- Manage and support a designated portfolio of clients, providing expert accounting and tax services.
- Undertake a range of accounting duties on a daily basis, maintaining regular, open, and clear communication lines with assigned clients.
- Review day-to-day bookkeeping, prepare financial statements, and provide insightful analysis to clients.
- Manage tax and VAT returns, and provide expert advice on financial matters.
- Support and advise clients on financial planning and strategy.
- Prepare management accounts and provide regular financial updates.
- ACA or ACCA qualification with significant post-qualification experience in a practice environment.
- A varied background with strong technical skills in accounting and tax compliance.
- Proven ability to work confidently and effectively with a diverse client portfolio.
- Excellent leadership skills with experience in staff supervision and mentorship.
- Strong business acumen with a track record in business development and networking.
