Urology Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Urology Consultant to join our team at Transformation Unit.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in urology and be able to manage a wide range of urology conditions, including elective and emergency cases. They will also have the ability to train and supervise junior medical staff and medical students.
The role will involve working closely with our team of 10 other consultants to provide a comprehensive urology service to patients in the region.
The terms and conditions of service will be offered on a 10 Programmed Activity basis, with a 1/12 on call rota supported by an on call registrar.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a wide range of urology conditions, including elective and emergency cases
- Train and supervise junior medical staff and medical students
- Work closely with our team of 10 other consultants to provide a comprehensive urology service
- FRCS or equivalent qualification
- Entry onto the General Medical Council's Specialist Register or in receipt of CCST within 6 months of interview
- Urology experience and MRCS or equivalent experience
