Role Overview:
As the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all financial operations.

The ideal candidate will be instrumental in ensuring the precision and integrity of all financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance processes.

This role demands a meticulous and analytical professional with a robust background in finance and accounting.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Operations Management:
Oversee all financial operations, including billing, cost accounting, inventory management, and revenue recognition.

Budgeting & Forecasting:

Lead the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts, monitoring and reporting on variances to aid in strategic decision-making.


Financial Reporting:
Generate and publish timely monthly financial statements, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulatory standards.

Regulatory Compliance:

Manage the preparation of regulatory reports, local reporting requirements, and ensure compliance with VAT, PAYE, and CIS obligations.


Technical Accounting:
Investigate and resolve technical accounting issues to guarantee compliance with applicable standards and regulations.

Month-End & Year-End Close:
Facilitate and oversee the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reported.

Quality Assurance:

Establish and maintain robust quality control processes over financial transactions and reporting to ensure the integrity of financial data.


Payroll Management:
Supervise the 4-weekly payroll cycle and related reporting, ensuring timely and accurate processing.

Process Enhancement:
Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to strengthen internal controls and enhance efficiency.

Additional Responsibilities:
Undertake additional controller duties as required to support the financial stability and operational success of the organization.

Qualifications & Experience:
Demonstrated experience as a Financial Controller, Accounting Manager, or in a similar capacity.
Comprehensive knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements.
Proficiency in accounting software and advanced skills in MS Excel.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
Capacity to manage multiple priorities and perform effectively under pressure.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
A relevant degree in finance, accounting, or a related discipline is essential.
