Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to join our team at Sentric Safety Group.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing end-to-end supply chain activities, ensuring seamless and timely distribution of products to our customers.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management, with experience in procurement, forecasting, inventory flow, and logistics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cost Management: Manage costs across the supply chain, including procurement, inventory, and transportation.
  • Data Analysis: Drive rigorous data and business intelligence analysis across the supply chain to drive cost savings, inventory optimization, efficiency, and speed on dispatch processes.
  • Supply Chain Optimization: Optimize supply chain activities, ensuring production and supply chain work in harmony.
  • Risk Management: Identify and address supply chain risks across materials, machines, and other key line spend.
  • Supplier Relationships: Build strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate favorable terms.
  • Inventory Management: Ensure inventory is optimized to meet production requirements and financial prudence.
  • Shipping and Logistics: Challenge and improve efficiency in shipping goods to customers.
  • Health and Safety: Drive and ensure statutory and best practice adherence to the highest health and safety standards within the supply chain team.
  • Logistics and Delivery: Manage and build relationships with logistics suppliers to maximize efficiency on delivery to our customers.
  • Team Management: Work collaboratively and liaise with other departmental managers to ensure internal customer requirements are met.
  • Team Development: Coach, mentor, and develop the supply chain team.

Qualification Requirements:

  • Graduate-level education in a business, engineering, or production-related subject or equivalent experience.
  • ERP expertise, preferably with 365 Business Dynamics knowledge.
  • Ability to understand and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Strong IT literacy and data analysis skills.
  • Experience with people management and developing a team.
  • Proven experience working under pressure to balance job priorities and targets.
  • Awareness of shipping requirements and Incoterms.
  • Experience of working in an international, multi-site environment.

Initial interviews will be conducted via video call, with onsite interviews to follow.
