Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacist to join our Outpatient Pharmacy team at Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional professional pharmacy services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as Responsible Pharmacist for the Outpatient Pharmacy, ensuring the provision of high-quality patient care and services.
  • Provide support to the Senior Pharmacist and the rest of the pharmacy team, promoting a collaborative and supportive work environment.
  • Contribute to the development of the business, ensuring the effective use of resources and the delivery of high-quality patient care.
  • Ensure a high-quality patient and customer experience is maintained, adhering to the Trust's values and standards.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Lead and manage the pharmacy team, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure the effective use of financial and physical resources, optimizing the use of resources to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and implement educational programs, promoting the development of pharmacy staff and improving patient outcomes.
  • Contribute to the development of research and development initiatives, promoting the advancement of pharmacy practice and patient care.
Requirements
  • Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) as a Pharmacist.
  • Experience in a clinical pharmacy setting, preferably in an outpatient pharmacy environment.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead and manage a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, staff, and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Knowledge of pharmacy practice, including clinical pharmacy, pharmacy law, and pharmacy management.
