A prominent manufacturer specializing in household and cleaning products is seeking a Regulatory Chemical Compliance Associate to join their team.

Reporting directly to the Head of R&D, the ideal candidate will possess expertise in chemical regulations across various sectors including household products, biocides, personal care, agrochemicals, or the broader chemicals industry. This role is essential in facilitating the ongoing product development process.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting the Head of R&D with regulatory matters.
  • Overseeing global labeling and safety data sheet information for consumable products.
  • Aiding in the preparation and submission of regulatory applications for biocidal products, REACh compliance, and other relevant regulations.
  • Managing global biocidal regulatory authorizations, renewals, and any exemption applications related to REACh.
  • Analyzing extensive regulatory documents to extract critical information.
  • Offering internal guidance on the implications of regulations for new and existing product technologies.
  • Demonstrating knowledge of global biocidal product regulations, REACh, Detergents regulation, labeling (CLP), and MSDS.
  • Supporting compliance-related initiatives within the team.
  • Representing the company's stance on pertinent regulatory issues.

Skills, Experience, and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a Regulatory Affairs or R&D role with a focus on regulatory compliance.
  • Background in the chemicals or related industries.
  • Strong communication skills to engage with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Proficient in English, both written and verbal, with a professional telephone demeanor.
  • A solid educational background, ideally with a degree in a scientific field.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Capability to collaborate effectively within a cross-functional team.
  • Outstanding organizational skills.
