Job Title: Management Accountant (Practice)

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing management accounting, bookkeeping, VAT, and cloud software services to a range of clients across the UK. With a strong focus on technical expertise and stakeholder relationships, this role offers great opportunities for professional growth and development.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Preparing and reviewing management accounts, including budget vs actuals, forecasting, adjustments, accruals, and prepayments.
  • Accurately preparing and reviewing VAT Returns.
  • Reviewing the work of junior team members and providing guidance and support.
  • Maintaining and updating client accounting records.
  • Assisting clients with improving their internal processes and procedures.
  • Providing interim financial controller support to clients as required.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong experience in preparing management accounts, including key performance indicators, cash flows, budget vs actuals, accruals, and prepayments.
  • Excellent numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Good effective communication skills and the ability to work closely with clients.
  • Experience with cloud software such as Xero, Sage, and/or QuickBooks would be an advantage.

We offer a competitive salary of £35,000 - £45,000 dependent on experience and background, negotiable. Additional benefits include 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays, onsite parking, and a pension scheme.
