In collaboration with Camden Council, Camden Learning is dedicated to implementing the education strategy aimed at enhancing educational outcomes. This includes initiatives to improve student behavior, minimize suspensions and exclusions, and boost attendance.
Key Responsibilities
- The School Inclusion Team is dedicated to assisting schools and families in accessing education for students who face exclusion or other barriers. The Administrative Officer plays a crucial role in daily operations, including tracking exclusions, processing invoices, and preparing documentation for various panels. You will engage with headteachers, senior leaders in Camden schools, and professionals from local authorities and partner organizations.
This role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and requires an Enhanced DBS check. Camden also provides access to the DBS update service.
Candidate Profile
To be eligible for this rewarding position, candidates should possess experience in administrative functions and demonstrate a solid understanding of English and Mathematics. You should be driven to ensure operational efficiency and possess excellent IT skills with a keen attention to detail. A proactive approach to problem-solving is essential, along with an understanding of educational legislation related to exclusions. You should strive for efficiency and aim to streamline processes, with a commitment to enhancing the lives of young people. Proficiency in IT software and familiarity with data reporting is advantageous. Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative spirit are also important.
