Key Responsibilities:
- Provide person-centered support to individuals with a learning disability, promoting their social inclusion and rights.
- Assist in meeting the needs and aspirations of service users, using a supportive and encouraging approach.
- Work collaboratively with senior staff members and other professionals to ensure high-quality care and support.
- Develop and maintain relationships with service users, their families, and other stakeholders.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of individualized care plans.
Requirements:
- Relevant experience in care and support, including working with individuals with learning disabilities.
- Awareness of the needs of people with learning disabilities, including those with challenging behavior, autism, and other disabilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Hold a Diploma Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
