About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Psychologist to join our dynamic team at Connect Health Group Limited. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing specialist psychological assessment and treatment for adults with chronic pain.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement evidence-based psychological approaches for chronic pain management.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and formulate treatment plans for individuals with complex psychological needs.
  • Provide expert advice and consultation on psychological aspects of pain management to other health professionals.
  • Develop and promote a positive and dynamic image and culture within the team.
  • Foster productive relationships with key stakeholders, including NHS Talking Therapies service providers, patients, and the public.

Person Specification

We are looking for a seasoned psychologist with a passion for leadership and innovation. You will have a British Psychological Society Accredited post-graduate doctoral degree in an applied field of psychology and experience working in an interdisciplinary chronic pain service. You will also have excellent communication and relationship skills, with the ability to provide and receive complex, sensitive, and potentially contentious information.
