About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Remedial Plumbing Specialist to join our team at SMS Environmental. As a key member of our plumbing team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality remedial plumbing tasks across various regional areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality remedial plumbing tasks, ensuring the highest standards of workmanship and customer service.
  • Conduct water testing and control work, including sampling, to ensure compliance with industry regulations.
  • Partner with Water Treatment Engineers to undertake tank disinfections, ensuring the safe and effective treatment of water systems.
  • Effectively resolve problems at site level, utilizing your technical expertise and communication skills to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Identify and report non-compliances at client premises, ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with industry standards.
  • Report water system conditions to Account Managers, providing valuable insights to inform business decisions.
  • Support and assist in the development of new plumbers and colleagues, sharing your expertise and knowledge to enhance team performance.
  • Built effective relationships daily with a variety of clients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring client satisfaction.
Requirements
  • City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2 Plumbing & Heating qualification.
  • Remedial plumbing experience, either from domestic or commercial environments.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to work safely and effectively in a team or as a lone worker.
  • IT skills, with ability to use IPad technology with accuracy.
  • Full UK, Manual, Driving licence.
