Role Overview

As a key point of contact for our clients, the Facilities Operations Manager will ensure that all inquiries are handled efficiently and in accordance with established Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). This role involves maintaining clear communication with clients regarding ongoing projects and operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Site Assessments: Conduct site visits to address client inquiries, gather necessary information, collaborate with contractors, evaluate potential risks, and compile sufficient data for accurate quotations.
  • Compliance Assurance: Uphold quality standards, health and safety regulations, and environmental protocols throughout all operations.
  • Documentation Management: Oversee the preparation and distribution of risk assessments, method statements, and work permits as needed.
  • Job Monitoring: Supervise all ongoing projects, ensuring that planning and escalation procedures are effectively implemented and that relevant systems are consistently updated.
  • Data Reporting: Compile and present operational and performance metrics for both the Facilities Company and client reports.
  • Team Leadership: Assist in managing and guiding the property services team, including task allocation, attendance tracking, performance evaluations, motivation, and providing necessary support and advice.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Organizational Skills: Proven ability to prioritize tasks effectively to meet business needs, demonstrating strong planning and organizational capabilities.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office and Computer-Aided Facilities Management (CAFM) systems.
  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in Contract Management for Hard Services within the Facilities Management industry.
  • Educational Background: A technical background in Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
